lol ! thx but how do i go into views? in the root menu? or in the replay? i tried to go to veiws in the root menu and well it didnt work out well. im really dumb you have to explain the all process very precisely. my g/f is blonde but im the dumb one! right becky i know i can place the camera exactly where i want by pressing shift+U but then is there a way to make it stick where i placed it? is it possible? thx becky ! thats a shame if we cant do that because this view is just awesome it feels like a real broadcast from a motorsport channel!

i like watching some of you guys' videos as the action displayed is a real thrill! no kidding!
i have a question, sometimes in the movie, the camera is set in the car, in the middle as if it were attached on the roll bar, as think this view is awesome. is there a way to stick the camera here for the entire replay when i watch it?

working for Honda, i tried their simulator myself.
they used an old BAR car from 2002 i think and installed the computer in it, plus some speakers and hydraulique (dont know the real word) thingy to make the car react a little to what is actually happening on the secreen in front of you. the forces in the wheel is actually pretty good, you have to fight hard to keep your line while rolling over a... crap forgot the name again (usually red and white on the inside of a curve!)
the program they use is a tweaked version of F12004. its ok but i was disappointed. the only good thing is that you actually sit in a true Jenson's F1 car !
what about the renault one?

i cant watch these videos, when im opening them in patch U it says "video obsolete".
i even tried with my Patch Q LFS didnt wotk! plz help me! those videos seem fun i wanna watch them!!

actually im only intersted by the porsche 996 cup mod, i dont really give a crap about anything else, oo yes maybe the GTR one. so is rF still worth it only for 1 mod?
im using a POS PC, it could barely handle GTR so will i have pbms running rF?

i am a great fan of LFS, but since im not racist, id like to have a few info about rFactor!
i watched a video of porsche 996 cup racing on the Ring; man that was awesome ! id like to be able to drive this car, and i know we cant mod cars in LFS (i dont have a pbm with that !) so the only way for me to drive the 996 cup is either to buy GTR or rFactor (Am I right?) i downloaded the GTR demo and this game just didnt seemed right to me,as far as physics and car reaction are concerned (maybe im just addicted to greatness because of LFS !!) so i forgot about GTR (too bad cause i love GTR cars and the FIA GTR championnship !)
so what about rFactor? i understood that i would have to download mods to be able to play with the 996 cup, 1st of, is the mod easy to install and run?
then what about physics and degree of realism in rFactor? while watching the video i noticed the guy had strange lines and was able to catch up with the other really easily (not very realistic imo)
what about collision and car deformation? is this any ok? or just crap, even worse no deformation at all?
what about the skinning part? is it as easy as in LFS?
Any comments on the rFactor community? (as friendly and helpful as here?)
please note that i am interested in Rfactor only thanks to the possibility to play with "real cars" and especially porsche! so is it worth it? im not very skilled computerswise so im a bit afraid of running mods, is it easy to do?
i know there should be a rFactor forum but i know folks here and i know i can trust them, thats why im asking on this forum.

I 'm moving to Finland next spring to study at Helia in Helsinki. I know the Finnish community here is rather big and pretty active, so i just wanted to ask you guys some tips regarding the living over there (places to go to, everyday tips, things to take care of before coming, sport facilities, events, ...) and if some of you finnish guys actually study at Helia, well im looking forward to hearing from you.

+1 for the waving flags officials, and why not flags that do serve their purposes, ex no passing under yellow flag, penalties if you dont pull under blue flag, (but there is an issue with the blue flag, its not displaid at the right moment, for some reason its out as soon as someone is close behind you, whereas it should be displaid when the racer behind you is overlapping you only.), also red and black flag, and that means a pace car too for the red flag.
i dont know for pitboards, do you think you could be able to seem them? i dont think so, radio should be better for giving informations, ex press the "1" key and you have your lap time, "2" for the seconds between you and front /rear driver; "3" tires informations, "4" damages, "5" fuel info; ...
what do you think?
this would be great in the real race cars (GTRS formulas) but quite akward in all the other raod cars. :-/
and plus what voice to use? as far as im concerned i want my pit crew chief to be a hot liestening woman ;-))
